East & West
Corridor Schedules available at the Belleville
Transit Plaza, St. Clair County Schnucks Stores,
City Halls and Libraries.
#1 State-Main.
New - The
#1 State and #11 Main routes will be consolidated
into a single route named the #1 State-Main.
The consolidated route will serve the same streets
and MetroLink Stations, and operate the same days
and general hours of its current service. By
combining the routes, passengers will eliminate an
unnecessary transfer. The weekday, peak hour headway
will be changed from 20 minutes to 30 minutes. The
schedule will be adjusted to better match the new
train schedule.
#2 Cahokia.
No proposed change on the
route, frequency, hours or days of service. Last
weekday inbound trip will be eliminated. Two
additional weekday late night trips will be added to
serve Water Street. One Saturday and one Sunday late
night trip will be added to serve Water Street.
#4 19th
and Central.
Route
renamed #4 Bond Ave. – 19th & Central.
Route modified to serve Bond Avenue between 10th
and 19th to replace service currently
operated on the #8 Alta Sita. Service on 13th
from Bond to Piggott and on Piggott to 15th
will be eliminated. Service on 10th to
Piggott, and on Tudor between 15th and
Piggott will be eliminated. The schedule will be
adjusted to better match the new train schedule.
#5 Missouri Avenue - JJK.
Route
renamed #5 Missouri Avenue - M. L. King.
Route rerouted to serve Missouri Avenue eastbound to
18th Street. New route will operate north
on 18th, west on M. L. King to 15th,
onto St. Louis Avenue to 6th Street. This
replaces service on the #3 M. L. King -
JJK. Service eliminated on Missouri Avenue
between 18th and 20th Street,
and between 20th Street tracks and 26th
Street. Service on 25th Street and 26th
Street will be replaced by the new #8 Alta Sita.
This revision eliminates the problems with freight
train delays. Service frequency, days and hours of
service on the route remain the same.
#6
Rosemont.
New route.
Route will serve both the JJK Station and the
Washington Park Station. Service will be extended
from the JJK Station to serve the new shopping mall
at 25th & State Street. Route will
operate hourly. Passengers will have service to
MetroLink twice an hour.
#7 Emerson Park - Fairmont.
Route restructured. Peak
hour headways on this route will be changed from 30
minutes to 60 minutes. The weekend service will be
eliminated. The Exchange Avenue branch will be
operated on an even hourly headway and displayed as
a separate timetable to reduce confusion. The
Fairmont City branch will also operate on an hourly
headway. Last weekday evening trip will leave
Emerson Park to Fairmont City at 9:37PM.
#8 Alta Sita.
Route
renamed #8 Alta Sita. The revised #8 Alta
Sita will operate north on 26th, onto
25th to the JJK Station replacing service
now operated by the #5 M. L. King - JJK. The
route will serve the new shopping mall at 25th
& State Street. This revision eliminates the
problems with freight train delays. Two special
weekday trips are added to serve Lincoln Junior High
School bell times at 13th and Bond. The
schedule will be adjusted to better match the new
train schedule.

Washington Park.
Route will
end at 62nd and Forest. Service will be extended
from the JJK Station to serve the new shopping mall
at 25th & State Street. The schedule will
be adjusted to better match the new train schedule.

Waterloo Columbia.
Route
renumbered to 4502 Waterloo - Columbia. Last
morning and first afternoon trips will be
eliminated.
#12
O’Fallon –Fairview Heights.
One
continuous route will be provided between Hwy. 50 &
Hartman Lane and Hwy. 50 and Weber Road with service
provided every 45 minutes. The schedule will be
adjusted to better match the new train schedule.
#13 Caseyville -
Collinsville.
Route
renamed #13 Caseyville - Marybelle. Route
will serve Golden Gardens and the Alternative High
School to replace service currently operated on the
#3 M.L. King-Centreville. Service will no longer
operate between Caseyville, Collinsville and St.
Clair Square. Madison County Transit will extend #MCT
15 Collinsville Shuttle to St. Clair Square via Hwy
159 weekdays and Saturday ending at the Fairview
Heights Station.

Memorial Hospital.
Route
renamed #14 Memorial Hospital Westfield Plaza
service will operate from the Memorial Hospital
Station serving Memorial Hospital, Royal Heights
Road, Country Club Plaza, Copper Bend, Westfield
Plaza and 74th Street between Westfield
Plaza and Arlington Road. For additional information
please see the new East Corridor Schedule. Weekend
service will be eliminated.
#15
Belleville – Lebanon - Mascoutah.
Route
restructured to operate only between Shiloh-Scott
Station and the Belleville Station. Service
frequency will be reduced from 30 minutes to hourly.
Four morning and four evening trips will be operated
on Saturday. Transit service to Mascoutah and to
Lebanon will be replaced with a new Flex Ride
service. Reservations can be made two hours or up to
two weeks in advance by calling (618) 257-0088.
Reservations will begin January 5, 2004

Belleville - St. Clair Square.
Route
restructured. Two early morning trips between
Belleville and College Station will be eliminated.
The route will operate on "B" Street between Sherman
Street and West Blvd., similar hours, frequency and
days of service. The schedule will be adjusted to
better match the new train schedule.
#17 Carlyle
Plaza-Wabash.
Route
renamed #17 Carlyle Plaza-17th Street.
This new route will replace some of the service that
was served by the #14 Memorial Hospital-Raab route.
Two morning and two afternoon trips will be provided
on Saturday. For additional information please see

#18 Lebanon
- Mascoutah Express
This route
services Mascoutah and Lebanon from the Shiloh-Scott
MetroLink Station. This service operates limited
trips during morning and afternoon rush hours. For
additional information please refer to schedules or
call St. Clair County Transit District.
#20 New
Baden Express
This route
services New Baden from the Shiloh-Scott MetroLink
station. This service operates limited trips during
morning and afternoon rush hours. For additional
information please refer to schedules or call St.
Clair County Transit District.
SCOTT AIR
FORCE BASE SHUTTLES
#21 Main
Base Shuttle.
The
Headquarters Route will be eliminated but
incorporated into the Main Base Shuttle. Saturday
and Sunday service eliminated.
#21 East
Base Shuttle
The East
Base Shuttle will serve Patriots Landing and will
operate hourly. Saturday and Sunday service
eliminated
